UT Health Science Center At San Antonio Celebrates Project Milestone

The University of Texas (UT) Health Science Center at San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas, topped out its new $500 million research and multispecialty hospital, according to the website beckershospitalreview.

The eight-story, 448,819-square-foot facility will include 144 beds, 12 specialized operating rooms, MRI and CT services, lab facilities, a blood bank, and stem cell lab.

The center will be connected to the UT Health San Antonio Mays Cancer Center through a skybridge.

The hospital is slated to open in fall 2024.
