Hammes Starts Construction On Blue River Surgery Center In Missouri

Healthcare development firm Hammes (Milwaukee) broke ground on the new Blue River Surgery Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Developed on behalf of the HCA Healthcare Mid-America Division (Overland Park, Kan.) in collaboration with more than 20 physician partners, the 22,500-square-foot facility ambulatory surgery center is expected to open in late 2023.

The project will include five operating rooms (ORs) and two specialty procedure rooms for orthopedic, gastroenterology, and other specialties.

Project partners include ACI Boland Architects (architect; Kansas City) and JE Dunn Construction (construction; Kansas City).
