Intermountain Healthcare Submits Zoning Application For Hospital Project

Nonprofit health system Intermountain Healthcare (Salt Lake City) filed an application with Salt Lake City to rezone the site of a former Sears department store in Salt Lake City to accommodate an urban hospital, according to the website ksl.com.

The project will replace Intermountain’s aging LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City.

The health system acquired the land last year, three years after the department store closed.
