Northeast Texas Cancer and Research Institute Completed In Texas
The Northeast Texas Cancer and Research Institute has opened on the Christus Trinity Mother Frances – Tyler campus in Tyler, Texas.
The 85,000-square-foot project consists of 34,500 square feet of clinic space for medical, radiation, and gynecologic oncology services, which are provided by Texas Oncology (San Antonio).
Nearly 3,000 square feet is dedicated to research facilities, including three linear accelerators for radiation therapy and 52 chemotherapy infusion stations (with six allotted to research) and four private treatment rooms. Pharmacy and lab services, a patient exercise area, and six-story parking garage are also included.
McCarthy Building Companies Inc. (Dallas) provided constructions services on the project, which was developed by Cottonwood Development (Morganton, N.C.)
