Kansas Department Of Aging And Disability To Build Mental Health Hospital

Kansas Department of Aging and Disability (Topeka, Kan.) is planning a 50-bed mental health hospital in Wichita, Kan., according to the website kansascity.com.

The Kansas state finance council approved $15 million in funding for the project. Sedgwick County (Wichita) has requested another $25 million for the project from the state committee in charge of disbursing $374 million in American Rescue Plan Act dollars, according to the article.
