Kirby Medical Center Adding Therapy And Wellness Center

Kirby Medical Center (Monticello, Ill.) is building a $14.5 million therapy and wellness center adjacent to the medical center, according to the website journal-republican.com.

The 40,000-square-foot building will include 20,000 square feet on the main level for multiple services, including wellness, cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehab, and physical-, occupational-, and speech-therapy. A 16-by-20-foot therapy pool on the main level and a 20,000-square-foot unfinished basement for future expansion are also planned.

Petry-Kuhne (Champaign, Ill.) is providing construction services on the project, which is expected to open in February.
