Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare Plans New Mental Health And Addictions Treatment Facility

Mental health provider Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare (Brentwood, Tenn.) is opening a Lifeskills South Florida mental health and addictions treatment facility in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Odyssey acquired Lifeskills, which provides services to adults ages 18 and over, in 2015.

The new facility will offer stabilization, evaluation, detoxification, and Level 1 residential treatment services for those with chronic and acute mental health, substance use, and complex co-occurring disorders.

The Lifeskills South Florida campus is expected to open in 2023.

Expansion of Sharp Rees-Stealy Otay Ranch Medical Center Underway

Sharp Rees-Stealy Otay Ranch Medical Center in San Diego has completed the first phase of a $86 million multiphase expansion. Opened in December 2023, the project included a new four-level parking garage with capacity for 610 vehicles. The next phase will add a two-story medical office building (MOB) with an urgent care center, advanced imaging technology, and expanded services.
