Trident Health’s Summerville Medical Center Unveils Expansion Plan

Summerville Medical Center in Summerville, S.C., part of Trident Health (Charleston, S.C.), announced a $66.8 million expansion project.

The project will add 56 inpatient beds to the hospital.

Those include 30 medical/surgical private beds, 14 intensive care unit beds, and 12 progressive care unit private beds. Shell space for future expansion will also be added.

Completion is expected in spring 2025.
