MetroHealth Joins Guardian Research Network

The MetroHealth System (Cleveland), a safety-net health system, has joined Guardian Research Network’s (GRN) nationwide healthcare research consortium. GRN is a nonprofit focused on advancing technology to accelerate cures for life-threatening diseases such as cancer.

The health system’s entry into the GRN consortium aims to give underserved communities in Ohio access to clinical trials and innovative therapies, while also contributing to GRN’s real-world data.

The partnership will also help create new research opportunities and contribute to MetroHealth’s translational research programs. These services seek to convert biomedical discoveries into targeted clinical strategies leading to more personalized and clinically impactful care for better outcomes.
