University of Maryland Medical System To Unveil New Laurel Medical Center In Maryland

The University of Maryland Medical System (Baltimore) is poised to open the Laurel Medical Center in Laurel, Md., according to the website thebaltimorebanner.com.

The replacement hospital will offer obstetrics/gynecology, heart and cancer care, neurology, behavioral health, emergency, and surgery services. (For more on replacement hospitals, go here.)

The two-story, 84,000-square-foot project will include examination and imaging areas, emergency bays, behavioral health care spaces, and operating rooms.
