Mount Sinai Health System Builds $140M Behavioral Health Center

Mount Sinai Health System (New York) celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Mount Sinai-Behavioral Health Center, in lower Manhattan, N.Y.

The project renovated a late-1800s-era building into the new $140 million center, which is part of Mount Sinai’s Department of Psychiatry. (For more on Mount Sinai, go here.)

The mental health, substance use treatment, and primary care facility offers inpatient, outpatient, and crisis services.

An outdoor courtyard, welcome rooms, recovery areas, and therapy spaces are also included.

Lendlease (New York) provided construction management services on the project.
