St. Michael Medical Center To Build New Patient Tower

St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale, Wash., part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (Tacoma, Wash.), broke ground on a new patient tower on its campus.

The 67,060-square-foot project will house 74 beds, which will be transferred from the recently razed St. Michael Medical Center in Bremerton, Wash.

The project team includes NBBJ (architect; Seattle) and Skanska (general contractor; Seattle).

The new patient tower is expected to open by the end of 2025.
