Freeman Health System To Expand Footprint

Freeman Health System (Pittsburg, Kan.) is planning a new hospital in Pittsburg, according to the website fourstateshomepage.com.

The $168 million, 170,000-square-foot facility will house 50 beds, an emergency department (ED) and intensive care unit (ICU).

Services will include cardiology, maternity, pediatrics, outpatient/inpatient surgery (including robotic procedures), as well as medical and radiation oncology.

Freeman currently has hospitals in Joplin, Kan., and Neosho, Kan.
