Morristown Medical Center Sameth Emergency Department Project Progresses In New Jersey

Atlantic Health System (Morris Plains, N.J.) is progressing on the expansion and modernization of the Morristown Medical Center Sameth emergency department (ED). The project is expected to be completed in 2024.

The new ED will have approximately 100 adult treatment rooms and bays and allow for the relocation of the adult behavioral health unit.

A dedicated ambulance entrance for pediatric patients at Morristown’s Gagnon Children’s Emergency Department, a new pediatric ambulance canopy and parking area, and separate pediatric exterior walk-in entry are also planned.
