Nebraska Medical Center Plans $2B Academic Medical Center

The Nebraska Board of Regents voted to allow University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., to build a $2.19 billion academic medical center, according to the website omaha.com.

The new facility will include spaces for modern medical training, patient care, research, and clinical trials.

Construction work is tentatively scheduled to begin by spring 2025, according to a website.
