AdventHealth Winter Haven ED Hits Project Milestone In Florida

AdventHealth West Florida Division (Winter Haven, Fla.) topped out a new emergency department (ED) connected to the campus in Winter Haven.

The ED is the first phase of a 42-acre development project on the healthcare campus, which will also include a 192-bed hospital and a medical office building.

The 19,800-square-foot, one-story ED will include 24 beds, a CT scanner, radiology room, resuscitation room, bariatric room, obstetrics room, isolation room, and lab.

The project is scheduled for completion in May 2024.

HuntonBrady (Orlando, Fla.) is the architect and Robins & Morton (Birmingham, Ala.) is the general contractor on the project.
