St. Joseph’s Hospital Center To Build Proton Therapy Center In Florida

St. Joseph’s Hospital Cancer Institute in Tampa, Fla., is planning a new $33 million proton therapy center.

The facility will be part of the hospital’s Fred J. Woods Radiation Therapy Center in Tampa, and include a compact single-room proton therapy system.

The project is slated to open by fall 2025.

The cancer center is part of BayCare Health System (Clearwater, Fla.).
