UNC Health Partners With North Carolina Department Of Health And Human Services On Behavioral Health Hospital In North Carolina

UNC Health (Chapel Hill, N.C.) and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (Raleigh, N.C.) converted the former R.J. Blackley Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center into the Youth Behavioral Health in Butner, N.C., according to the website axios.com.

The $11 million acute hospital care serves children and teens in psychiatric crisis.

The project houses 54 patient beds and specialty therapy rooms, including music and art therapy spaces.
