Valleywise Health Nears Completion Of Replacement Hospital In Phoenix

Valleywise Health, a Phoenix-based health system, is nearing completion of a 10-story hospital in Phoenix that will replace a 1970s-era facility, according to the website azbigmedia.com.

The 673,000-square-foot hospital will include 233 private patient rooms, the 75,000-square-foot Diane & Bruce Halle Arizona Burn Center, 10 operating rooms (ORs), two interventional radiology areas, two cardiac catheterization labs, and two helipads. Services will include cardiology, trauma and emergency, maternity, neonatal intensive care unit, oncology, pharmacy, and radiology.

Cuningham Group (Phoenix) is the architect on the project and Kitchell (Phoenix) is the general contractor.
