HCA Florida Blake Hospital Adding Freestanding ED In Palmetto, Florida

HCA Florida Blake Hospital (Bradenton, Fla.) broke ground on HCA Florida Palmetto Emergency, a freestanding emergency department (ED) in Palmetto, Fla., according to the website heraldtribune.com.

The $15 million project will include 11 exam rooms.

In addition to full-service emergency care, the 10,800-square-foot ED will house laboratory, X-ray, CT scanning, ultrasound, and pharmacy services.

The facility is expected to open in summer 2024.
