Hoag Opens Dove Canyon Healthcare Clinic In Trabuco Canyon, California

Hoag (Newport Beach, Calif.), a nonprofit health network serving Orange County, Calif., opened Dove Canyon Healthcare Clinic in Trabuco Canyon, Calif.

The 7,500-square-foot facility offers urgent and primary care services and houses 15 exam rooms.

AO (Orange, Calif.) served as the architect of record, interior designer, and design architect on the project.

Northside Gwinnett’s Moves Forward On Patient Tower

Construction of a new 17-story patient tower at Northside Hospital Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, Ga., will progress as one project instead of built in phases as had been previously planned, according to the website constructionequipmentguide.com . Northside ‘s tower will add 146 more patient beds, bringing the hospital’s total bed count to 696. One-third of the beds in the new tower will be used for critical care and will replace the hospital’s original intensive care unit built in the 1980s. $564M Victorian Heart Hospital Opens In Australia

Monash Health has opened Victorian Heart Hospital on the Monash University Clayton campus in Clayton, Victoria, Australia. As Australia’s first dedicated heart hospital, the $564 million facility houses clinical cardiology, research, education, outpatient, imaging, pathology, and pharmacy services. The 196-bed hospital includes seven catheterization laboratories and one floor dedicated to heart research by Monash University and independent research group Monash Cardiovascular Research Centre (Clayton). A central outdoor courtyard, landscaped areas, and café spaces are also featured at the new hospital. The project team comprises Conrad Gargett (designer; Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) and Wardle (designer; Collingwood, Victoria, Australia).
