Atrium Health Breaks Ground On 30-Bed Hospital In North Carolina

Atrium Health (Charlotte, N.C.) broke ground on Atrium Health Lake Norman, a new 30-bed hospital in Cornelius, N.C. (For more on Atrium Health, go here.)

The 170,000-square-foot facility will house a laboratory, pharmacy, maternity suites, 4-bed intensive care unit, two operating rooms, cesarean-section operating room, and emergency department with eight treatment rooms. A helipad is also planned.

The new hospital is slated to open in 2025.
