Weill Cornell Medicine To Expand In New York

Academic medical center Weill Cornell Medicine in New York is expanding its footprint with additional medical practice space at its Manhattan facility and a new residence dorm in the Upper East Side, according to the website beckershospitalreview.com.

Located in Midtown Manhattan, the academic medical center will add an additional 10,000 square feet of space for clinical practices.

The project, expected to open in fall 2025, will occupy nine floors and have a separate lobby entrance for patients.

Weill Cornell also announced plans to build a $260 million residence hall at its Upper East Side campus. The 16-story, 173,000-square-foot facility will include 163 studios, seven one-bedroom units, and 51 two-bedroom apartments.
